3. Change the default font size
1. Formula fonts in MathType
The default font size in MathType is 12pt , which is small four in Word . The font size of the word font corresponding to MathType is shown in the table below.
2. Temporary custom font size
To change the formula font in MathType, click the other option under the Size menu, and find that the default font size is 12pt , change it to 10.5pt
It should be noted that after changing the font, the font of the original formula will not change, and the formula needs to be re-entered , and the font size will only take effect in this window. After the formula is recreated, the font size will still be 12pt.
3. Change the default font size
Select the Define option under the Size menu, change the font of the formula in the Full column, and change the default 12pt to 10.5pt.
It can be seen that the font of the original formula changes immediately after the change, and the default font of the formula changes. When using MathType to continue editing the formula, the font size will always remain at 10.5pt.
Four. Summary
There are two ways to change the font in MathType:
1. Size→Other
Temporarily customize the font size, only in this window and need to re-enter the formula to take effect
2. Size→Define
changes the default font size, and it will take effect for all newly created formulas after the change
