Although the following process test did not affect the original files of the C drive, it is recommended to back up the file if possible. Let’s use the traditional method first (you can just take a look, and the simple one will be behind==), open windows powershell, cd to jump to virtualbox In the installation directory, enter:
.\VBoxManage list hdds
Find the path (location) or UUID of the virtual machine whose disk capacity needs to be modified:
use the path information here, enter:
.\VBoxManage modifyhd "E:\VMs\win7\win7-disk001.vdi" –-resize 36864
At this time, check the storage status in the settings, and it has been expanded from 32G to 36G:
it is not over yet, open the virtual machine and find that the size of the C drive has not changed, this is because the added space has not been allocated, right click on the computer, open the computer management interface.
Right-click the C drive-extend the volume, and then click on the expansion wizard (this type of operation can also be used for host expansion), and check the C drive after completion, it has been successful.
The simple method is here~ The premise is to operate when the virtual machine is turned off, find Management-Virtual Media Management-Properties, and then, as shown in the figure, adjust it directly! The expansion operation is still the same.
