From the second half of 2021, my body began to deteriorate, mainly manifested in indigestion and stomach discomfort, especially for lunch. If I eat hard rice, I will start to feel uncomfortable in the afternoon, and the effect is very obvious.

There are many adverse reactions caused by stomach problems, such as insomnia, getting angry, etc. I have also gone to the hospital to see it many times. .

Some friends said, exercise your body, as you get older, it’s not okay to be dissatisfied. I also ran in 2020, because I was busy with work, but it was hard to stick to it. But this year my body is very poor, so I can only force myself, so I started running in the evening of 2022.03.08. The first time I ran, it really hurt my hips. After only 13 minutes and 1.89 kilometers, I couldn't hold on.

There happened to be a sharing about running in the internal TGO on the 9th, and I was greatly encouraged after listening to it. The sharer has a point of view, that is, you can run very slowly, but you must persist for more than 30 minutes, so that it will be effective.

On the night of 3.10, I continued to run. This time I gritted my teeth and persisted for 25 minutes. I ran 3.4 kilometers, which was considered a breakthrough, but it was still less than 30 minutes.

I didn't run at night on 3.11 because I was busy with work. I was absent this time, and I felt that running at night was not suitable for me. Because of work and other factors, I couldn’t control the time, and I didn’t want to run when it was too late, so I decided to get up early for a run. I got up at 5:50 and started running after 6 o’clock.

3. The alarm rang at 5:50 on the 12th, and I was sleeping soundly. It was really difficult to get up. After struggling several times, I finally got up and started running. This time I broke through for 30 minutes and ran 4.13 kilometers. I was very happy. I was sweating profusely after the run and felt very comfortable after taking a shower.

Break through 5 kilometers on 3.14, and then insist on getting up and running at 5:50 every morning, and insist on five kilometers every day.

I persisted until 3.19, my left leg and knee were a little sore, so I took a day off on 3.20, and changed my plan, deciding to run 6 days a week and 1 day off.

From the first 5km on March 14th to March 31st, I ran a total of 14 5kms. In addition to running less than 5km, I ran a total of 80km in March, consumed 7007 kcal, and averaged at a pace of 07:22 , the total exercise time is 09:55:06, and 17 runs have been completed .

Persistence is the key to achieving such a breakthrough this time. You must grit your teeth and persevere. If you relax, you may give up.

After more than half a month of running, I will summarize some experience for friends who want to run and exercise:

  1. You don’t need to run too fast, 7 minutes 30 or 8 minutes is fine, the key is persistence, break through 30 minutes first

  2. The first time I ran, there will be blisters on my feet two days later, I must remember to pierce them with a needle, otherwise I will not be able to run the next day. I myself had 4 blisters in three days, and they disappeared later.

  3. After the first day of running, my legs will be sore. It's okay, just keep going.

  4. Remember to do some stretching after running, or take a walk, and don't sit still.

  5. On the 7th day of running, there will be knee soreness. At this time, you should take a proper rest to avoid knee damage.

  6. Because you run in the morning on an empty stomach, you can drink some water to avoid dry mouth.

Running is difficult at the beginning, don’t pursue fast, you will be very tired, and your endurance is not enough, it is not easy to persist, but as long as you persist, you will feel refreshed and energetic after running.

In April, I have already set a goal, and I will continue to insist on 5 kilometers each time, with a monthly goal of 100 kilometers.
