The Opera browser has released version 100, officially renamed "Opera One," for Windows, Mac, and Linux.
This version introduces Aria, the native AI assistant, and has a new modular design, a redesigned browser architecture, and innovative features such as Tab Islands.
Native browser AI assistant "Aria"
Based on OpenAI technology, Aria is natively built into the new Opera One browser and Opera for Android browser , available in more than 180 countries including Europe.
Aria's implementation of ChatGPT includes the ability to search the Internet in real time, similar to Bing Chat. But Opera Software has added more browser-specific features to Aria. For example, Aria understands all the supporting documents of the Opera browser. Opera users who encounter problems can ask related questions to Aria, and they will get accurate answers soon.
Tab Islands: A new, intuitive way to interact with tabs
Tab Islands is a new way to visually group related tabs together based on context .
Tab Islands can separate different browsing contexts, such as putting travel guides in the same Tab Islands, and then putting game guides in another Tab Islands.
Tab Islands can be moved around, collapsed, or saved to bookmarks or notepad.
New modular design and new architecture with multi-threaded synthesizer
The Opera browser morphs into a browser that dynamically adapts to the user's needs, bringing only key features to the foreground: relevant modules in Opera One will automatically adjust according to the context, providing users with a smoother and more convenient browser.
In addition to redesigning the look and feel of its interface, Opera also redesigned the underlying structure of its desktop browser, implementing a new browser architecture with a multithreaded compositor to provide a faster and smoother user interface layer.
