From October 13, 2020, Microsoft will no longer provide main support for Office 2016, but extended support will continue until October 14, 2025 [9] .

7. PowerPoint: Theme changes provide a different color scheme for a theme.
8. In Outlook: a suggest new time feature, the ability to see calendars side by side, and the ability to see the weather forecast through the calendar view.
9. Outlook 2016 for Mac has limited email synchronization support for collaboration services.

The user interface design of Office 2016 retains the relatively unchanged Modern UI and Microsoft's consistent design language. There are also some modifications made to the mobile version of Microsoft Office .
