Getting Started - First Blog

Hello everyone, I am a small undergraduate student from Fuzhou, Jiangxi. It is a pity that although I was admitted to a major school in the coastal area after studying hard in high school, I was transferred to the mechanical category. But I still want to work in computer-related positions in the future. I plan to change majors or study by myself after the freshman year. I also hope that I can go further on this road in the future without leaving any regrets.

Currently in the freshman year, the school opened the foundation of university information technology in the summer vacation and then opened the C language in the second semester of the freshman year, but the relevant knowledge did not explain in depth, but only a preliminary understanding of programming. Because I didn't have much contact with programming before entering university, some of them even stayed on TV, and gained a certain understanding through Station B and related platforms during the summer vacation. In the next three and a half years, I plan to participate in representative competitions such as the ACM International College Student Programming Contest, and hope to achieve good results in these competitions through future studies.

Learning programming is a long process. You can't just listen to the teacher in class or on the Internet platform, but you have to type more codes in private. At the same time, I also found some websites on the Internet that are better for programming questions, such as Qinglan question bank for programming questions, Niuke.com and leetcode for grammar and algorithm questions, as well as hihoCoder, PTA, etc. Squeeze some time every day to do questions and type codes, actively ask questions about what you don’t understand, and at the same time summarize what you have learned every week. At the same time, I am also willing to spend 1-4 hours a day to learn programming, accumulating over time, and hope to have a good harvest after graduating from university in four years.

The IT company I most want to join is ByteDance. This is a big challenge, but I am also willing to study hard for this, and move towards this goal without leaving any regrets for myself.

Finally, thank you readers for reading, and hope to make progress together with many bloggers and readers!
