Before upgrading to iOS 16, please note :
Check to see if the device supports the iOS 16 system: iOS 16 no longer supports the iPhone 6s, iPhone 7/iPhone 7 Plus, and the first-generation iPhone SE. iPhone 8 and later devices are required to upgrade.
Please back up important data before upgrading. It is recommended to use iTunes to back up the whole machine to avoid accidental loss of important data;
Please make sure that the iPhone has turned off iCloud activation lock, or know the local Apple ID account and password, otherwise the device may not be activated after flashing;

iOS 16 flashing steps :
