overview
Win-KeX in seamless mode will launch the Kali Linux panel on top of the screen on the Windows desktop.
Applications launched through the panel will share the desktop with Microsoft Windows applications.
Seamless mode removes the visual isolation between linux and windows applications and provides a great platform to run penetration tests in Kali Linux and copy the results directly into Windows applications for final reporting.
Win-KeX utilizes VcXsrv Windows X Server for seamless desktop integration.
prerequisites
- VcXsrv requires the Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 (vcredist140). It should be included with a standard Windows installation, but if you get an error complaining that it's missing, just download and install it.
