ENVI 5.3 Chinese tutorial (upward compatible)

Tip: This tutorial uses the official method, not a third-party plug-in.
This method is only applicable to versions above ENVI5.3

Two: Start Sinicization

1. Add permissions
Because you need to replace the language pack file in the ENVI installation directory, you need to add full control permissions
to the installation path (1) Locate the ENVI installation path, here is: D:\envi\ENVI5.3
(2) Right click on the file Folder, Properties>Security>Edit>Check "Full Control", and then confirm;

2. Install app_store, download the Chinese expansion file
(1) Unzip the file just downloaded to get the envi_app_store.sav file; as follows

(2) will envi_app_store.sav is assigned to the extensions folder in the ENVI installation directory;

(3) After completing the above steps, open ENVI5.3 and click on the toolbar of the main interface: help > app_store;

(4) Enter "Chinese" in the app_store panel Then search, find the Chinese version of the ENVI language pack, click uninstall App, and install it directly.

(5) Restart ENVI, click help > language > Chinese on the main panel; then click Yes; ENVI will automatically restart, and then it will be the Chinese version. When switching between Chinese and English, the following prompt will pop up: Select "Yes

or "Yes", ENVI will automatically restart and switch to the target language.
Select "No" or "No", ENVI will switch to the target language at the next startup.
Select "Cancel" or "Cancel", ENVI will not do anything
