1. Download the Ubuntu image file
Here I choose the domestic Tsinghua source to download the ubuntu image file
Step 1: Tsinghua source download address: Index of /ubuntu-releases/20.04/ | Tsinghua Open Source Software Mirror Station | Tsinghua Open Source Mirror
Step 2: Click ubuntu-20.04.6-desktop-amd64.iso to download
2. After downloading, remember the save path of the downloaded file, which will be used later on vritualbox
2. Configure the virtual machine
Step 1: Double-click virtualbox to open the software. The interface just opened is not the same as mine (because I have already installed it here), find New (N), and click it
Step 2: Then this interface will appear
Step 3: For Name, you can choose any name (preferably in English)
Step 4: (Folder) file save location select other, and then create a folder on another disk
Step 5: Select the type as Linux, select the version as Ubuntu (64-bit), and click Next
Step 5: The memory size of 2048M is basically enough, you can also set a larger one, and it is recommended to choose 6 CPUs
Step 6: Set the hard disk memory to 60.00GB, and click Finish after setting
Step 7: (1), click Settings(s)
(2) Click on the system, uncheck the floppy drive, and then click the arrow to put the order of the CD-ROM drive first
(3), click on storage, then click on no disc, and finally add a disc
(4) Select the virtual disk, here you need to find the location where you downloaded the ubuntu image file yourself before, and then click to select, and finally click OK, here you have adjusted the configuration of the virtual machine system, and then you Click Start to enter the ubuntu system
