Chapter 3 Overall Design
of Gantry Crane The 450-ton crane designed in this paper is used in the high-speed railway engineering-style concrete girder manufacturing field, as shown in Figure 3.1, the concrete box girder made by the beam field has a mass of 900 Tons are usually hoisted by two 450-ton gantry cranes across the railway line. This crane can be used to assemble bridge cranes.

The layout of the beam field is different from that of the main type of operation, and the span and lifting height of the crane are also different. In order to meet different requirements, the structural form is also different. Beams and outriggers adopt an A-shaped structure and are rigidly connected to the main beam. In order to improve the force distribution of the outriggers, the joints of the outriggers and the main beam also adopt a rigid structure on one side and a flexible structure on the other [21-22].
