Insert satellite objects based on TLE data in STK9

The object inserted in this example is the Chinese Tiangong Space Station.

Data Sources

TLE data address: In the official announcement (section) of the website, it feels like it is being updated every day.

Copy and save the two lines of TLE data locally, and add the object name in the first line of the data file, for example: TianGong (Note: After testing, the STK insertion interface does not support Chinese), as shown in the figure below.

Main menu: Insert -> New, and the "Insert STK Objects" dialog box will pop up.

Select 'Satellite', in the 'Select A Method' on the right, select 'Select From Satellite Database'.

Click the 'Insert' button, and click the 'Modify...' button in the pop-up dialog box, as shown below:

In the pop-up dialog box, select 'Import from file', then click the TLE file selection button, a file selection dialog box pops up, select the desired file, as shown in the figure below.

STK will automatically read in the TLE file data and display it in a list for users to choose.

Note: A data file may contain multiple satellite data. If there are multiple satellite data, STK will display them in a list and let the user make a choice.
