Step 1: Firmware Version
a) Check the camera firmware version
b) If it is older, it is recommended to upgrade to the latest firmware and then test whether the abnormality disappears.
- Be careful not to upgrade across major versions;
the second step: driver troubleshooting
Check the camera icon in the USB camera enumeration list in the client, as shown in Figure 2-1 under normal circumstances: if there is a word "2" (as shown in Figure 2-2), it means that the USB port of the PC is 2.0, or there is no If it is inserted tightly, the USB port needs to be replaced with a 3.0 one, or the USB interface should be inserted tightly. If there is a yellow exclamation mark (as shown in Figure 2-3), it means that the driver is not installed or not installed correctly. You need to install the driver, or uninstall and reinstall it. Refer to the driver installation method and driver uninstall method.
Check through the device manager whether our USB camera is correctly mounted on our driver. The normal situation is shown in Figure 2-4:
