Mechanical revolution z2 black apple transformation plan
The original system hard disk is only 256G, which is too small. I bought a Dahua C900Plus-b 1T solid state while the solid state was cheap, and added a Hikvision c2000pro 1T that was added to the previous computer to prepare a win+mac dual system productivity tool.

There are many detailed tutorials for Black Apple on website b, and you can also read Master Guoguang’s blog, https://apple.sqlsec.com/, there are text and video tutorials, and there is a very detailed introduction to Black Apple’s guide to efi
Of course, there are also great masters on the Internet who provide direct-installation images that are well adapted to efi, https://www.cmbs-soft.com/, this website provides efi boot files and direct-installation images for mechanical revolution series laptops
Black Apple installation steps for direct mirroring
The following steps are for the windows+macos system with dual hard disks, that is, install windows on one hard disk and install macOS on the other hard disk, so as to ensure the stability of the other system when there is a problem with one system. Single hard disk dual system is also similar
1. Write to U disk using Write image to U disk
The U disk must be greater than or equal to 16G. To ensure stability, please try not to use 2.0 or parallel disks
In fact, there are many tools for writing images into USB flash drives, and you can choose according to your current computer system. Those who want to install the black apple probably use Windows. The list of available tools and downloads is as follows:
- transmac , burning tutorial (I used this tool successfully once)
- balenetcher , burning tutorial (my own real experience of windows 11 writing to u disk more than 10 times without success, the advantage is cross-platform)
- rufus
2. Turn off Secureboot in BIOS and start from U disk
This can be entered into the bios by pressing the corresponding shortcut key when restarting. For the mechanical revolution series, you can press F10 to find secureboot in the bios and close it. Save and exit
Because the USB flash drive is plugged in, there will be an interface to select the boot item after the bios is saved and turned on, similar to the interface shown in the figure below. If there is opencore, you can directly select it. If there is no UEFI OS that can select the name of the USB flash drive, the first one is the opencore partition.
After selection, you can enter the opencore interface
3. Erase the reserved installation partition or disk in Disk Utility
Select the hard disk or partition where the macos system is to be installed, and click Erase in the upper right corner
- If you choose a hard disk, you will install macos on a separate hard disk, which is suitable for dual hard disks, dual systems or only black apples.
- If you choose partition, you can install dual systems on a single hard disk. For disk partitioning, please refer to Master Guoguang’s tutorial
The picture below shows the selection of partitions. When selecting a hard disk, there is an additional "partition" option, select: GUID partition map
The name is arbitrary, and the format needs to be macos system format APFS. APFS is similar to Windows NTFS format. It should be noted here that mac cannot read NTFS format USB flash drives, and USB flash drives can be formatted as exFAT to ensure normal use across dual systems.
Quit Disk Utility after wiping
4. Choose to install MACOS
The next step is the normal macos installation process. Select the disk you just erased and install it graphically. The system will restart multiple times during the installation process.
5. After the installation is complete, use DiskGenius and EasyUEFI to transfer the boot to the local
After completing the previous step, the system can be used normally, because now macos is booted from the U disk, the next thing to do is to copy the boot to the solid state drive, this step can be done in Windows or in macos, Windows You can use Disk Genius, macos can use occ (opencore-configurator)
After opening, select the OCC icon in the upper right corner, click, find the hard disk where the system is installed, and click "Mount Partition"
mount u disk boot partition
Copy the oc directory to the hard disk directory
Because I have dual hard disks and dual systems this time, I don’t need to use tools to create startup items, and I can directly set the disk’s boot setting to the first boot in the bios.
If it is a single hard disk dual system, you can use EasyUEFI or Diskgenius tools to create boot items
EasyUEFI cracked version download address : https://sqlsec.lanzouw.com/i4amxzmj1cj
The steps to use EasyUEFI are as follows
-
Select Manage EFI Boot Items
-
Select create new item
-
Select Linux or other operating systems for the operating system type, describe whatever you want, select the first ESP boot partition of the hard disk for the target partition, then click Browse Data, select the OpenCpre.efi culture under the EFI/OC/ directory, and click OK
Move the startup item up to be the first item
If you still can’t choose it when you start it, you can modify the startup item in the bios, and the black apple has been installed since then
Optimization - System Migration
Because the original system disk is a 256G stat3 solid state, now I have two 1t solid states on hand, one has macos installed, and the other is going to replace the original 256G system disk where win is located to migrate the system to the 1t solid state, just to use two solid state socket
System migration is also very simple, just use DiskGenius directly. Of course, there are other tools such as magiclBox, a tool that comes with Hikvision Solid State, which can be used for system migration or full disk migration.

-
Select the target disk. The target disk can be smaller than the source disk, but the capacity of the target disk must be greater than the total amount of used data on the source disk
Next, just follow the prompts, wipe out the disk, select live migration as the migration mode, and wait for a while to restart.

Summarize
-
There are no bugs in the system at present, the small version can be updated directly in the system settings, the big version needs to consider waiting for the master efi
But after the update is complete, please remember to close Filevault (file safe). After the update is completed, the check box for this small house icon may appear in the settings, please remember to remove the check box

Because it is an Intel network card, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth can be used normally, but the accompanying flight and airdrop functions cannot be used, and the Broadcom network card needs to be replaced. Most of the machine’s graphics cards cannot be used normally without drivers.

That is to say, the disk format of the Windows system is the ntfs file system format, and the disk format of the Mac system is the apfs file system format. Both systems can use the exFAT format. If it is a U disk or a hard disk is used to install dual systems and another hard disk can also use this Format
Read and write NTFS issues: MACOS natively only supports read operations on NTFS partitions, and cannot write to them. For example, using scripts or software to forcibly enable NTFS independent display may cause WIN blue screen errors. It is recommended to divide an EXFAT partition for reading and writing operations.

If a tool has been unsuccessful, consider switching to another tool
-
In macos, it can be clearly felt that the running speed of the computer has improved compared with win11, the memory usage has also been reduced, and the fan is running less.
-
The keyboard problem has some key correspondences that vary depending on the keyboard. The touchpad gestures are definitely not as easy to use as a macbook.
-
There is also an unexpected harvest, the Kingston 16G USB flash drive that cannot be recognized or formatted normally under win can be used after being erased under macos, amazing! ! !
