Thinking back to the morning when I graduated with a master’s degree and left Beijing, it was cloudy.

From the laboratory to the dormitory, I walked for 3 years. I stayed in the nearby campus for 7 years. I took one last look before leaving, and I was a little bit reluctant.
There are crossroads everywhere in life: going to school in Beijing and working in Qingdao were the first choices I made after graduation .
As a mechanical major, in order to find a job that looks good, I resolutely chose to change my major for employment.
Now it seems that thanks to my choice at the beginning, I let myself do what I like - the world of programs is the simplest, it will run according to the natural laws of the code you write, once there is a bug in the world, you can incarnate God, with a wave of his hand, the bug is released and the world returns to peace.
That's right, after graduating from graduate school, I went to program development from a mechanical interdisciplinary.
After working in Qingdao for a year, I found that the environment in Qingdao was far from my expectations, and there were few opportunities and limited development. Being familiar with the rhythm of Beijing, I decided to resign from Qingdao again and return to Beijing to make a living.
Just like when I left Beijing for Qingdao, I didn't hesitate at all, because I was young, because I felt that there was a sea ahead, and there would be a small island that belonged to me there.
So I brushed the questions and submitted my resume for an interview. Fortunately, I entered a good company, where I got considerable growth.
From junior siege lions to intermediate and advanced siege lions, from novice to interviewer, from only doing things and writing codes, to making plans to discuss feasibility, it can be said that I have experienced the growth path that all siege lions will go through.
During the period, I continued to learn, engaged in embedded, read circuit diagrams, learned C++, learned algorithms, learned artificial intelligence, and worked on AI chips. Along the way, I have gained a lot. I like Stephen Chow's "Kung Fu" movie. The Xing Ye in the movie is a one-of-a-kind martial arts prodigy, and I am just an ordinary developer.
A siege lion wanders on his own small island during countless days and nights, immersing himself in the world of code, while expanding the territory (new feature development), while building roads (optimization) and laying bridges (bug fixes) , while practicing his own Tathagata palm.
Over the past few years, I have become completely different from the morning when I left Beijing.
The work has taught me a lot. In addition to technology, I have also gained friendship and learned the skills of dealing with affairs in the workplace.
Now I am very fortunate that I made two choices at the beginning, Beijing to Qingdao, Qingdao to Beijing—going round and round, I gradually saw myself clearly.
If choice is more important than hard work, then I think choice will only become important if you choose the direction you are willing to work hard for.
Now I work in a start-up company, while doing what I like, sorting out my harvest over the past few years, paying attention to the development of the industry, and revisiting the movies of Master Xing.

At that time, we were all doing what we liked and full of longing for the future. And now we are still doing what we like, full of hope for the future, and I believe the roommates must be the same.
