01 Granules Perfume
This is a box of air fresheners called "Magic Incense," which has been in my office for a long time. Now its smell is basically gone. However, the particles still appear blue. One idea is to heat it under an alcohol lamp and see how it changes.
Put the tin box with the blue particles on top of the alcohol lamp, they all appear blue at first. Next, light the alcohol lamp to heat the iron box. After the iron box was heated, the particles inside began to squeak, and white smoke came out. Take a closer look at how the particles are being heated. As the temperature gradually increased, the smoke inside became bigger and bigger. It can be seen that the particles inside have changed color, and the particles at the bottom have become very black. Now the smell is getting stronger and stronger, and the particles below are gradually melting, and then it starts to burn. This is the black substance seen at the bottom.
After the iron crucible is cooled, the heated material in it is taken out, and the blackened material is fused together and has elasticity. But in the end there is no fragrance.
