I often think that this concept is very important in startups, because sometimes I hear founders say, if I did it myself, maybe all of this would be okay. Everything takes problem solving as the first priority, and product quality comes first

在我经历的这么多初创团队中,也不乏有些人很懂得保护自己,但是却不见得让产品有良好的发展,这点往往是我自己最在意,也最希望避免的。既然要开发产品,我只在乎产品本身好与不好,而非一味去相信客户总是对的,我在乎的是整个开发团队是否拥有充足的资源、是否能够互相合作、是否有良好的开发制度及开发产品的循环,唯有技术团队合作顺畅,才能对于产品的营运提供最大的后援。也因此,即使产品营运端的需求往往充斥各式各样奇妙的问题,维护产品的开发顺畅度绝对会是我的第一要务,需求过大或是过于混乱而造成的开发程序的混乱,绝对是第一时间需要被制止的。

谈钱不伤感情,理想价值才是追求 

身为一个公司的经营者,一定会面临到要跟公司同事谈薪水的事情,这点我相信对大部分公司经营者来说,都是经常发生的。不过跟公司同事讨论的过程中,我比较希望讨论同事在公司发挥了什么样的基本价值、或是附加价值,如果有别的公司与环境,能够让同事发挥更大的价值,我也会不吝啬的跟他说。

我们通常是这样讨论价值的,如果是程序员就相对的简单,如同我们程序员客栈给程序员派单,都是按照600块钱一天8个小时工作量来计算。如果程序员因为技术良好,得到客户的肯定,能在短时间解决更多时数的工作,那么他自己定义日薪2000让客户来雇佣他也是可以的。

而如果是项目经理,则是看一个月能管理的项目量的多少就来决定,当然优秀的项目经理能够同时把控两到三个初创项目开发,而这也当然就是项目经理的价值。如果能因为管理技巧上升,让管理的时数提升,自然而然价值就会变高,加薪也就是必然的事情。

谈价值,其实不只对公司同事好,让他们更快了解自己存在的意义。对公司来说,理清每个人的价值与责任,自然管理上就会更顺畅一些,也会让我更谨记,要让大家的价值都能顺利发挥。

修身、齐家、治国、平天下

最后一个,是我终身信奉的一句话,也是我最希望带给每个同事的一句话:修身、齐家、治国、平天下。现在很多公司为了加班,把员工的生活置身事外,当公司同事加班习惯,就没有自己的生活、自己的兴趣,甚至顾不到自己的家庭。在不平衡的工作环境中,做事的效率就不会稳定,也不会长久。这点从古人的智慧里面清楚点出,把自己跟家庭顾好,才有机会将事业版图扩张,其实不管是新创公司也好,人的一生也好,都是比看谁撑得久,而不是比谁跑得快。

所以包含自己的健康,像是要有良好的运动习惯、自己的兴趣、自己的朋友圈、要能顾虑到自己的家人,这些都是我们团队最重要的事情,比工作更来得重要。因为工作中,有同事可以帮忙你,但是自己的健康,没人帮得上忙。也因此,我们选择让大家可以自己调整时间平衡自己的生活,那不是公司福利,而是公司应该要能够带给团队的基本环境,让大家有正确的工作观念。

团队是公司的灵魂,信息共享、文化共筑

我认为,创业所带来的价值,不该只是产品端的价值,而是希望透过团队的成长,为这个社会注入一些正面的观念与能量,我相信这也是很多创业公司所希望带来的社会价值。

我很幸运,在我的团队中,所有人愿意共享信息,共享每次处理问题的过程与关键的抉择,团队能够自然成长,做最后决定的人虽然只能有一个,但是大家的群策群力,才是造成公司文化最大的要素,而非单一个人有办法改变的。

与其说CEO在带领一个团队,不如说大家都是团队的一员,而整个团队一起为公司打下江山。希望每一个创业的经营者,也能够逐渐建立起自己的团队文化,让公司除了有产品价值外,有更好的文化价值,进一步提升社会中的工作文化,相信这样的作为,一定能够让我们的互联网创业进入一个良性循环的发展。
