Device management
The equipment application is used for equipment management within the company, tracking employees' equipment and management and maintenance requirements.
Install the "devices" module:
1 device
Select the equipment menu, and create a new equipment, the form corresponds to the maintenance.equipment data table:
equipment category: associated maintenance.equipment.category data table, specify a class for the equipment.
Owner: Associate the res.user data table to specify which user the device belongs to.
Maintenance Team: Associate the maintenance.team data sheet to specify which team is responsible for servicing the device. Create a new maintenance team, corresponding to the maintenance.team data table:
the drop-down menu indicates the person in charge of the team, which is associated with the res.partner data table.
Technician: Associate the res.user data table.
Dispatch Date: The date the device was delivered to this user.
Retirement Date: The date the equipment was retired.
Use Location: The location where the device is used.
1.1 Product Information
Information on some devices:
Warranty: The date the warranty period for this device ends.
1.2 Maintenance
Preventive maintenance frequency and maintenance duration: Indicates the frequency of maintenance. For example, the above data indicates that the maintenance is expected to be 3 days and 3 hours of maintenance per day.
2 Maintenance application
Click the "Maintenance Request" option under the Maintenance menu, the dataset is displayed in the Kanban view pipeline by default:
Create a maintenance request, this form corresponds to the maintenance.request data table:
Request Date: The date when the maintenance was requested.
Closing Date: The date the maintenance ends.
Maintenance type: Correction, which means that the equipment has a problem and needs to be repaired; Preventive measures, which means that there is no problem for the time being.
Scheduled Date: The date the maintenance is scheduled to take place and should not be the same as the requested date.
Manually click the maintenance progress in the upper right corner to track:

3 Maintenance Calendar
By default, the maintained dataset is displayed in a calendar view and by week:
other views can also be selected in the upper right corner.
4 Dashboard
The dashboard shows the current maintenance tasks for each team by maintenance team:
Contact Directory
It is the res.partner data table mentioned in many previous modules. Odoo makes it a separate module. The fields of this table have been analyzed before:
the module can be displayed in both Kanban and list views. Since it is only used as a management of personnel information, it does not have any submenus and does not have any default filters:
