New XAMPP security concept: error resolution

When running xamp on a virtual machine, the following error message appears when accessing the xamp service of the virtual machine through this machine

 

 

New XAMPP security concept:

Access to the requested objectis only available from the local network.This setting can be configured in the file "httpd-xampp.conf".

 

 

Edit configuration files with vim

vim /opt/lampp/etc/extra/httpd-xampp.conf 

 

at the end of the file

 

# Require local     <--- Comment out this, cancel only allow local access

   

ErrorDocument 403 /error/XAMPP_FORBIDDEN.html.var

 

restart xammp service

/opt/lampp/lampp restart

 

Remote access is possible

Open httpd-xampp.conf (/xampp/apache/conf/extra/httpd-xampp.conf)
