Browser common settings

1. Disable browser zoom:
Under the registry key "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Zoom", set the DWORD value ZoomDisabled to 1.
Note : Back up the registry in advance before modifying

2. Solve the problem of "Your security settings cause computer security risks" in IE8 :
a. Start > Run > Enter "gpedit.msc" and press Enter to open the Group Policy Editor;
b , Expand Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Administrative Modules > Windows Components > Internet Explorer
c. In the right window, find the "Turn off security settings checking function" policy item

d. Double-click this item and select "Enabled" in the "Settings" option.
e. It is worth mentioning that it took effect after restarting IE before, but Windows7 needs to restart the computer to take effect.

 

3. View the page browsing ratio of Firefox browser: The browsing ratio of
IE browser is displayed in the status bar. Press and hold the Ctrl key while scrolling the mouse gear up or down to automatically adjust the browsing ratio of the browser. Firefox can also do the same. Adjustment, but the proportion after adjustment cannot be seen intuitively in the interface.
Open the Firefox browser, find the "three bars" icon on the far right of the toolbar - open the menu - the first line of the small box that pops up is "cut, copy, paste" or something, and the second line is the browser percentage. You can use the left and right - and + to adjust the reduction and enlargement ratio respectively.

4. How to check the browser version:
a. Display the menu bar of the browser: open the browser, right-click at the top, and check
the menu bar; b. Find "Help (H)" in the menu bar, then click and Find "About XX" in it (XX means browser, such as IE is about Internet Explorer, Firefox is about Firefox;
c, the pop-up box has the version information of the browser
