1. Why discuss LeTV

 

LeEco has been at the center of news topics in recent years. Last month, the news that LeEco's mobile phone supply chain was short of money came out. An email from Boss Jia pushed the incident to a climax, and LeEco suddenly became a national topic.

 

Why is it very important to write your opinion on LeEco, exercise and insist on your own independent critical thinking, and don't follow others' opinions. You are also welcome to discuss together. :)

 

2. What is the current internal situation of LeTV?

 

LeEco has been receiving bad news recently, owed money, and layoffs, and LeEco has been coming out to refute rumors. Here's what I've learned:

1) The money owed is real, and Boss Jia confirmed this in the interview.

2) The news of layoffs is real. LeTV was personally confirmed to me by the resigned employees, but not all departments were affected, and LeTV.com was less affected.

 

3. What kind of company is LeTV?

 

LeTV was established in 2004, 13 years ago. Looking at LeTV a few years ago, it was actually a video website company. In order to break through in the video industry, it took a very difficult road:

1) Make content. Acquire copyrights, set up film and television companies, and directly produce.

2) for hardware. Do super TV.

 

I can't say that this is wrong, but it is indeed a very difficult road. Both content and hardware are heavy assets. If you are a little careless, the capital chain will break and the company will be finished. It is a great miracle that LeEco has survived without any backing.

 

In the past few years, LeEco has been running all the way, and it is hard to describe LeEco in one sentence. According to LeEco's own description: "LeEco is committed to building a complete ecosystem of "platform + content + terminal + application" based on the video industry, content industry and smart terminals. LeTV's vertical industry chain integration business covers Internet video, film and television production and distribution, smart terminals, Large-screen application market, e-commerce, Internet smart electric vehicles, etc.; its subsidiaries include LeTV, LeTV Zhixin, LeTV Pictures, Wangjiu.com, LeTV Holdings, LeTV Investment Management, LeTV Mobile Intelligence, etc.”



 

关于乐视生态,网上找了一个不是很清楚的图,关于这个乐视还创造了一个词“生态化反”,各个子系统相互生态化学反应。说白了就是希望通过不同的东西去圈用户,然后相互之间还能促进,比如买了电视的用户,顺便把手机也买了,视频也一起订购了。当能这是乐视的美好愿望,这背后的最大 的难题是,不管手机,电视,还是其他的,都是烧钱的业务,一旦停止烧钱,用户立马掉头就走,所以乐视的资金压力非常大,这也是这次爆出资金链紧张的必然原因。

 

4,“贾布斯”其人

 

乐视老板贾跃亭,应该说乐视一直的驱动力都来自贾跃亭。乐视一直不赚钱,但是通过贾跃亭不断给资本市场讲美好的故事,另外又碰上了去年大牛市,所以虽然不停的有人唱衰乐视,但是乐视股票一飞冲天。继雷布斯之后,又被网友称为“贾布斯”。

 

从目前公开消息看,贾个人还是有比较可取的地方:

1)有清晰的思路和长远的眼光(早在视频战的时候,乐视内部就有超级电视的项); 论是视频 站还是超级电视,亦或是超级汽车,贾在这些项目中都展露出他对于商业是有着探索和追求之心的,并步像其他暴发户老板那样,守着一亩三分田就满足现状生活。

 

2)贾妻是演艺圈 ,曾被媒体冠为京城四小美中其一。贾的私生活较为低调,不管结婚还是生子,都鲜有外人报道。

 

3)团结了一批人,乐视全员持股,通过股票团结了一批牛人。就不一一列举,一查一大堆。

 

 

其他关于贾的小道消息很多,有传是煤老板的,也有说牵扯到政治因素里面。这些都是小道消息,无从证实,对贾个人评价,我还是比较认这句:“贾跃亭就是赌徒心态,老想一把梭”。乐视今天的成功和危机都是贾个人之功。

 

5,乐视的”生态化反“能奏效吗?

 

关于这点,大家多讨论讨论:

1)纯靠生态就是伪命题,体验才是用户选择的核心驱动因素。生态确实会促进销售,但是即使是苹果公司,今天主业仍能是卖手机。新款设计一旦不如预期,销量立刻下滑。乐视的生态化反就更是无稽之谈。世界上好东西这么多,哪个好就选哪个,用户不可能被封闭到一个系统中去。

 

2)靠资本故事,没有拿的出手的好产品,乐视要持续成功会很难,贾要及时转向。
