How does oracle create a database

1. Execute the command "Start" → "Programs" → "Oracle - <ORACLE_HOME_NAME>" → "Configuration and Relocation Tools" → "Database Configuration Assistant" on the Windows desktop to open the welcome interface of the Database Configuration Assistant dialog box, click the "Next" button

   

2. Enable the "Create Database" option and click the "Next" button to enter the "Step 2: Database Template" interface

   

3. Enable the "General Purpose or Transaction Processing" option, click the "Next" button to enter the "Step 3: Database Identification" interface

   

4. In the "Step 3: Database Identification" interface, set the global database name of the new database, which is set to myorcl here, and the database instance name (SID) is the same as the global database name by default, which is also myorcl

5. After setting the password, click the "Next" button to enter the "Step 6: Storage Options" interface, where the "File System" option is enabled

   

6. Click the "Next" button to enter the "Step 7: Database file location" interface. After setting the storage location, click the "Next" button to enter "Step 8"

   

   

7. ¤ Use the default settings and click the "Next" button to enter the "Step 9: Database Content" interface, where you can configure the sample program and custom scripts. Use the default settings and click the "Next" button to enter the "Step 10: Initialize Parameters" interface, where you can configure memory, resizing, character set and connection mode. Use the default settings, click the "Next" button, and enter the "Step 11: Security Settings" interface, where the default settings are used, that is, the "Retain enhanced 11g default security settings" option is enabled. ¤ Click the "Next" button to enter the "Step 12: Automatic Maintenance Task" interface, and select the "Enable Automatic Maintenance Task" option on the interface.

8. Click the "Next" button to enter the "Step 13: Database Storage" interface, where you can specify the storage parameters of the database, click the "Next" button to enter the "Step 14: Create Options" interface

   Click the "Finish" button, and click the "OK" button in the pop-up "Confirm" dialog box to start the creation of the new database
