Observe the network card information captured by the kernel

An application note

  • Assuming that your network card is already on the host, whether it is built-in or external, you can use dmesg to check whether the network card is captured. The dmesg command is used to display the boot information, and the Kernel will store the boot information in the buffer. If you are too late to boot Query information, you can use dmesg to view. Boot information is also kept in the /var/log/dmesg file, some information can be captured by viewing this file.
  • In addition to using the dmesg command, you can also use the lspci command to query related device chip data.

Two application examples

Use dmesg and lspci respectively to view network card information.
