Correspondence between Gitlab Group, Project and roles

Simply record, when configuring and using Gitlab in the past two days, sorting out the matters needing attention between Group / Project / Role

 

1. Create a new Group
   
   
   , enter the Group name after the Group path, and then create
2. Add a user to the Group and set the Developer to Developer
3. The important thing is how to associate the relationship between Project and Group.
   Enter the Project management panel, click Transfer (assuming that there is already such a created Project), and transfer the current Project to the corresponding Group
   
    
4. After Gitlab 7.0, the project has protection permissions by default, and Developer push is not allowed. 
   Set pull permissions for Developer, project -> settings -> protected branches
   
    
5. Add Memebers to the project
