Mac HomeBrew installs mysql and
sees various kinds of online ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock'

1. Make sure there is no mysql in the environment

　　brew remove mysql

　　brew cleanup

2. Install

　　brew install mysql

3. Start

　　brew services start mysql

       Set startup startup: launchctl load ~/Library/LaunchAgents/homebrew.mxcl.mysql.plist (the command to set startup can be obtained through brew info mysql)

4. Log in to

     mysql -uroot

Then we follow brew prompts to run mysql_secure_installation, and an error will be reported after running:

> mysql_secure_installation

n't panic, it prompts that mysql cannot be found .sock. The reason is that the mysql process has not started yet.
6. Start the mysql service

mysql.server start

By default, a MySQL installation has an anonymous user,
allowing anyone to log into MySQL without having to have
a user account created for them. This is intended only for
testing, and to make the installation go a bit smoother.
You should remove them before moving into a production
environment.

Normally, root should only be allowed to connect from
