Company and personal accounts in iOS developers

Apple mainly divides developers into three categories: individuals, organizations (companies, enterprises), and educational institutions. which is:

1. Individual

2. Organizations

Organizations are divided into 2 sub-categories:

(1) Company

(2) Enterprise ( Enterprise )

3. Educational Institutions

For more information, please see Apple's official instructions: Choosing a Membership

We often pay the most attention to the three categories of individuals, companies, and enterprises. Both companies and enterprises belong to the category of "organizations". The following is a simple comparison of these three:

1. Individual:

(1) Cost: $99 a year

(2) App Store listing: Yes

(3) Maximum number of uuid supported: 100

(4) Number of collaborations: 1 (developer himself)

Note: "Individual" developers can apply to upgrade "Company", which can be consulted and handled by calling Apple (400 6701 855).

2. Company:

(1) Cost: $99 a year

(2) App Store listing: Yes

(3) Maximum number of uuid supported: 100

(4) Number of collaborations: multiple people

It allows multiple developers to develop collaboratively, and has more account management settings than individuals. Multiple Apple IDs can be set, and there are 4 management levels of permissions.

Note: You need to fill in the company's DUNS Number when applying.

3. Enterprise

(1) Cost: $299 a year

(2) App Store listing: No

That is, the application developed by this account cannot be published to the App Store, only the internal application of the enterprise.

(3) Maximum number of uuid supported: no limit

(4) Number of collaborations: multiple people

Cost: $299 a year

Note: It should be noted that applications developed by enterprise accounts cannot be launched on the App Store, which is suitable for enterprises that do not want to publish applications publicly. Similarly, the company's DUNS Number is also required when applying.

Only a few of the differences are listed above. For more differences between accounts, please see the following picture: (Note: The picture is from the Apple official
website mentioned above )
