Windows server 2008 certificate expiration reason cannot be remote solution

Popup when logging in remotely:

Remote Desktop cannot connect to the remote computer because the authentication certificate received from the remote computer is expired or invalid.

In some cases, a large time difference between the client and server machines can also cause this error.

Solutions:

1. Log in to the server

Use a machine that can be connected remotely or log in to the server directly in the computer room.

2. Open Remote Desktop Session Host Configuration

3. Select Connection Settings, Connection Name: RDP-Tcp, double-click or right-click Properties.

4. View the RDP-Tcp properties, in the "General" tab, click "Select" under the certificate.

5. Confirm the certificate and click "Click here to view certificate properties".

6. Install this certificate on this machine
