A former BAT interviewer, talking about the interview experience of entering BAT

If you have a good foundation, sufficient project experience, and sufficient preparation, then your probability of getting an offer will be relatively high; on the contrary, if you are not well prepared and your foundation is not good, then your probability of getting an offer will be relatively low. But you can invest in a few more companies, so the chances of getting an offer will be higher, because you will always be lucky.


So, don't be afraid of interviews, it's nothing to fail at the beginning, try more and try more. Don't worry too much about gains and losses, and treat every interview as a learning experience.

The following are some of my personal interview experiences, including my own interviews with others, as well as my early personal interview experiences.

1. Starting from self-introduction, it

is very powerful to keep smiling throughout the whole process. Who can refuse a person who loves to laugh?

Smile, it can quickly shorten the psychological distance between you and the interviewer, and create a harmonious atmosphere for follow-up in-depth communication.

Keep your resume as short as possible and focus on your highlights.

For example, which company did you have an internship with before, or which company did a project that you thought was a good one. In your resume, you can briefly describe the city, school, etc., and break through the key points.

When introducing yourself, don't look erratic, your eyes need to be focused, and your tone can be a little gentler. This is the most basic form of respect and a way of showing a strong self-confidence.

The first part is very important. If the interview has left a good impression on you: initiative, sunshine, and self-confidence, it will be a bonus option for your subsequent interviews.

Remarks: BAT likes young people who are energetic, motivated and motivated the most. It is generally focused on training, and even the technical link is almost passed.

So, don't underestimate this link. Some students did not pay attention to this link, and some small links in the middle were deviated, and even the interviewer directly rejected it. The reason is very simple. In addition to recruiting you, he also needs to consider issues such as training and team execution. Who wants to hire a self-righteous person in their team, even if you have the skills, the interviewer has no reason to hire you.

Therefore, the above remarks are the focus.

2. Technical interview

This is to test your basic technical skills. The technical problems of entering BAT general questions are all these, depending on your mastery.

Remarks: There are many students who have just entered Taoism, and they always want to find a shortcut! The shortcut is: master these, don’t interview just for the sake of interviewing. You will need to use these knowledge points sooner or later in your work.

3. Project introduction

If you pass the above two links, the interviewer will naturally ask what project you are best at?

What do you think is a technical project you have done?

Look at the strength of your project, look at the language organization logic of your description project, and quickly grasp the key descriptions.

What was your role in participating in this project?

If the project is really good, see how important you are in the project. Objectively, get some of your technical strengths.

For the entire project, what are the technical challenges and difficulties? Can you draw a technical architecture diagram, deployment diagram, etc.?

Show the technical difficulty of the entire project, and evaluate you from a technical perspective.

4. Career planning

Of course, if you have passed the above links. At this stage, it is basically the same as giving China a good voice, "What is your dream?"

Talk about your career plan.

Please keep in mind that this link is really not a good voice in China. The tutor is ready to hire you. Ask your dreams. There are actually many pits here. Many interviewers ignore the importance of this link, especially at the back, they should be more cautious and need to take this link seriously.

The interviewer is actually still investigating you. If you are interviewing for a purely technical position, simply say that you want to be a technical architect in the future. Don't make superfluous words, talk about a bunch of things that are not related to technology, what management, etc. Please remember, this is a big no-no! What kind of things you do at any stage, and you have dreams, it's not too late to talk about it later.

The interview mainly examines the ability of the candidate in two aspects. The first is business ability, such as how much user operation experience, what kind of things have been done, and to what extent; the second is personal quality, such as thinking style, learning ability, execution ability, toughness, etc.

It is difficult to summarize general rules when examining business capabilities. It can only be judged by the interviewer's experience in the process of communication, and each person's judgment method is different. My way is to keep changing the problem from big to small, from general to specific, and look at the other party's solution.

For example, don't say how awesome the company is, just say what you have done; don't say how many daily activities you have for this product, just say how you have achieved so much; don't say how many KOLs you have, just say you are How to get them step by step.

Therefore, the more detailed the conversation, the better. No matter how high the target position level of the candidate is, the skill can only be seen in the details. This is not the question that I want to talk about this time, and I will ignore it briefly.
