Click Create New Virtual Machine to create a new virtual machine.
Select a "Typical" installation. Click Next.
Select "Install the operating system later" and click "Next".
In Guest Operating System, select Linux (L), the version is CentOS, and click Next.
Set a name for the virtual machine, choose a storage location, next. For convenience, I set my own name
Allocate a total memory space for the virtual machine. It is recommended to use the default value of 20GB. "Split virtual disk into multiple files" is checked by default, do not need to change, click "Next"
Click Finish.
Next install the image file for Linux and select "Edit virtual machine settings". Here are the basic information settings of the virtual machine, you can change its memory, number of processors, core processors, hard disks, etc. Here, select "CD/DVD(IDE) auto-detection", and in the pop-up window on the right, select "Use ISO image file" and find the location of the downloaded Centos
After completion, open the virtual machine, the first one, click "I have completed the installation"
Click on Skip
Click "next"
Select the language of Linux as "Simplified Chinese"; click "next".
Select the keyboard mode of the virtual machine as "US English" and click "Next".
Select "Basic Storage Device" and click "Next".
Fresh install, click " Yes, ignore all data "
Set the hostname, likewise, I set my own name
Set the time zone to "Asia/Shanghai", and cancel the check in front of "Use UTC time for system clock". "Next" again.
Set a password for the super user, the next step
Select "Use all space", "View and modify partition layout", and click "Next".
In the source drive display window to repartition the disk, select "Reset"
In the pop-up window, select Standard Partition, and click Create.
First create a /boot partition, 100M, select ext3, select "fixed size"
Then create a swap partition with a size twice the physical memory, set it to: 4GB, and click OK. The setting value in the screenshot is wrong, the installation process has been changed, it should be 4000.
Give all remaining memory to /data , select Use All Space, and click OK.
Select "Write Modifications to Disk". "Install the bootloader in /dev/sda, click "Next".
Select "Desktop", that is, the installation of the desktop system, the next step.

After the system installation is complete, there is the following interface, and then click "reboot" to enter the system.
System welcome interface, click "forward"
Select "Yes, I agree to the license agreement" and click "Forward".
Create user, full name and password, click "forward"
After setting the date and time, click "Forward"
Log in
enter password
Enter root and log in to the administrator account
After logging in to the system, you will enter the graphical interface of CentOS, and the operation is similar to the usual Windows.
