AutoCAD cannot display dotted line solution

When using AutoCAD, the phenomenon of dotted lines or dotted lines displayed as solid lines often occurs. This article takes the dotted line as an example to explain the reason why the display cannot be displayed and the solution.

There are three reasons why dashed lines cannot be displayed:

        First, the size of the drawn graph is too small relative to the line length of each segment of the dotted line, so that the solid line between the virtual and the real cannot be displayed;

        Second, the size of the drawn graph is too large relative to the line length of each segment of the dotted line. At this time, the dotted line between virtual and real can only be displayed when zoomed in to a large enough size. Under the size suitable for observing the graph, it looks like a solid line. ;

        Third, the graphs overlap, preventing the dotted line from being displayed.

The following three reasons, take AutoCAD2004 as an example, to explain the solution.

Solution:

The solutions for the first two reasons are as follows:

    In the Dashed line type in AutoCAD, the length of each segment of the dotted line is about 13, and the length of the hollow part is about 6; the length of each part of Dashed (.5x) is 1/2 of that of Dashed; the length of each part of Dashed (2x) is 2 of Dashed. times.

    Therefore, the appropriate line segment ratio should be selected according to the size of the drawn graphics. There are three ways to modify the linetype scale:

            First, AutoCAD comes with a variety of linetype scales, such as Dashed(.5x), Dashed, Dashed(2x) as described in the previous paragraph.

(The first is Dashed, the second is Dashed(.5x))

            The second is to modify the global scale. The command LTS is used to modify the length scale of all line types. If set to 2, it means that the lengths of all solid line segments and space segments of all dashed lines become twice the default value.

(The first picture, the global scale is 1; the second picture, it is 2)

            The third is to modify the local line type scale of a line. The modification method is to double-click the line segment to be modified. You can see the line type scale property in the properties dialog box, and you can modify it in the properties dialog box. If it is set to 2, the length of each segment of the dotted line of the line segment becomes twice the original length.

For the third reason:

    Try not to let the lines overlap.
