Browser anti-tracking tool Ghostery is open source!

German software development company Cliqz, owner of the browser privacy tracking plugin Ghostery, has decided to open source the software. With Ghostery, you can block ads and trackers. In Chrome, it has nearly 3 million users, along with 1 million Firefox users with extensions installed.

Ghostery allows users to block some scripts, images, iframes, and various embeds that users don't trust. The extension also has a GhostRank function, which anonymously sends the information of these privacy tracking users encountered to the Ghostery server, so that more people can provide them with a reference when they browse the site.
