Windows 10 right-click item to add Notepad++ and plug-in management

1. Open the Registry Editor, Start -> Run -> regedit.

2. Under HKEY_CLASSSES_ROOT → * → Shell, under Shell, the new item is named Open With Notepad++, and a new string value is created in the right window of the new item (right-click--New--String value). Name: Icon; Value: D:\software\Notepad++\Notepad++.exe,0 [Note: Use your own installation file directory].

3. Create a new item Command (must have this name) under the newly created item Open With Notepad++. Modify the default value of the window on the right side of the Command item to: D:\software\Notepad++\Notepad++.exe %1 [Note: use your own installation file directory], the addition is complete!

Just right-click to view the item in Notepad++, there is no picture, it's okay

 

If you want to add EditPlus, the above steps are also possible.

The new version is not installed by default, the plugin manager can be installed manually
