it is too late? Firefox 60 for Android finally officially introduces the quantum engine

Last November, Mozilla released the  desktop version of Firefox 57, which it named "Firefox Quantum" because of the introduction of the new browser Quantum Quantum Engine. Quantum takes Firefox's page rendering speed to a new level with the latest threading technology.

In fact, the original plan of Mozilla engineers was to introduce the quantum engine to the desktop version and the Android version at the same time, but the Android version was repeatedly delayed due to development progress issues. From Firefox 57, to later Firefox 59, and finally to the upcoming Firefox 60.

It is reported that in addition to the Quantum CSS engine, Firefox 60 for Android also adds an option to view the source code of web pages from the page operation menu, making it easier for web developers to view the source code of web pages. And the new version of Firefox also includes numerous security fixes to provide a more secure Web browsing experience.

However, from the current  ranking of netmarketshare  's mobile browsers, the proportion of Firefox is very low, only 0.69%. Whether the accelerated Firefox 60 can bring new life to it, we will wait and see.
