Detailed introduction of VLAN

First think about what a VLAN is.
A virtual lan (virtual local area network) is a logical group of users connected to a physical device that is not limited by physical location.
The destination
switch introduced into the VLAN divides the conflict domain, but cannot conflict with the broadcast domain
with the number of switch ports. The number of network broadcasts increases, which reduces the efficiency of the network.
In order to divide the broadcast domain,
the type of vlan VLAN is
introduced . Static VLAN
based on port division Dynamic VLAN based on mac address division.

pvid is the VLAN to which it belongs.
By default, the pvid of all ports on the switch is 1.
The configuration of static vlan is divided into two types.
Create individually <HUWEI>system-view
[HUAWEI]VLAN 10
[HUAWEI-VLAN10]description vlan-name
delete [HUAWEI]undo description vlan- nameBatch
create vlan
<HUAWIE>system-view
[huwei]vlan batch 30 to 35Delete
batch vlan
[huawei]undo vlan batchrch 30 to 50

The difference between Access and Trunk links:
the connected devices are different
access, generally connected to terminal equipment;
trunk, generally connected to switch equipment;
different VLANs;
access, can only belong to one VLAN;
trunk, can support multiple VLAN;
different operations on data
access:
for outbound data, it is not tagged;
for inbound data, it is not tagged;
trunk:
for outbound data, it must be tagged;
For incoming data,
if the received data carries a tag,
if the receiving port allows the vlan, it will be received directly;
if the receiving port does not allow the vlan, it will be discarded directly;
if the received data If it does not carry a label, the vlan number
indicated by the PVID on the trunk port will be used to label the data; note: the default PVID on the trunk link is 1
