Using foremost on windows

Doing CTF questions requires this tool to extract the hidden files in the file. Most of the Internet is the Linux version. I finally found an exe file before and it still can't be used. After searching for a long time, I finally found it:

With this original code, you can compile the exe yourself. If you are too lazy to compile, there is a compiled one in the binary. Just use this directly.

You can copy the first two files to a safe folder for later use, just don't delete them by mistake. To separate files with this command, you need to specify a specific directory:

foremost filename to be separated

There is also a very simple method, you can select the file foremost.exe and copy it.

Open the sendto folder, usually in

C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo

Right click, paste the shortcut (not paste), and change the name to whatever you want.

In this way, this function is integrated into the right-click. If you want to unpack any file in the future, right-click it, select Send to, and select this:

The output folder will be generated in the same directory, which is very convenient
