DHCP server setup

Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) is a network protocol of a local area network, which is specially used to automatically assign TCP/IP parameters to computers in a TCP/IP network
. Installation steps
1. Install dhcp, and view

2. Modify the configuration file, and assign the range of ip addresses to 192.168.100.100 — 192.168.100.200


3. Restart the dhcpd service and set it to start automatically

4. Check the port of the dhcp service, and 67 appears, indicating the service Open

2. Test
1. Test on the test machine, set the ip address to obtain automatically

2. Release the address of the IP test machine

3. Re-obtain the ip address of the test

machine

The IP address of the machine has obtained the address assigned by the dhcp server, indicating that our DHCP service has been successful!
