1. Change 1 to [1]
Substitute - ^e - [^&] and you're done
Note: Change the text and endnotes each time
2. Change the superscript number in the endnote to non-superscript
Select All Endnotes - ctrl shift = done
3. Remove endnote separators and extensions
View - Draft - Reference - Show Notes - All Endnotes Drop-Down Triangle - Separator - Select to delete the extension and the same is done
4. Changed the reference from the end of the text to the "References" section and added thanks
Add a page break between references and acknowledgments
(1) Make endnotes the end of each section:
Citations - Footnote drop-down triangle - Change to end of section, apply whole document - OK
(2) Incorporate endnotes at the end of the article:
Then add an endnote at the end of the text and then Layout - Page Settings drop-down triangle - Layout - check to cancel the endnote - OK
Then delete the empty endnote you just inserted
(3) Move endnotes to the "References" section:
Place the cursor in the "References" section Layout - Page Setup drop-down triangle - Layout - uncheck to cancel endnotes - OK
