Where to climb from where you fall, a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step

Mark, the time is in the early morning of May 4, 2018. It has been nearly 40 days since I was laid off from a foreign company at the end of March, but the job is still pending. During this period, there were nearly 20 interviews, large and small, but most of them fell into sand. Suddenly I felt I was so panicked that I had to face up to my current problems and summarize some of the messages and lessons I got during the interview:

  • Insufficient skill matching. I have re-examined my skill stack, and I am actually a developer of Java web server, but I don’t know much about mainstream frameworks and middleware such as spring, mybatis, mysql, Redis, etc. which are basically necessary for Java web, and I have never been in the project. to get involved.
  • Knowledge is fragmented and not integrated, with little practical experience, emphasising theory over practice, and understanding of knowledge points is not deep enough and detailed enough.
  • Insufficient attention to new technologies, such as dubbo, spring cloud, etc.

In response to the above problems, I will take the following measures:

  • Prepare to spend two to three months focusing on attacking the spring ecosystem, including spring core, spring mvc, spring boot, and spring cloud.
  • For the first and second points, the specific measures are mainly based on the combination of reading spring official documents and coding practices. I will post the results of reading in the form of essays.
  • For the third point, I will read at least one piece of IT technology information from Blog Park or CSDN or other channels every day

Today, I express my determination with this article, and at the same time supervise myself to regain the tenacity and patience of the postgraduate entrance examination, perseverance, and strict self-discipline!
