Prepare the centos 7 installation package, what I downloaded here is " CentOS-7-x86_64-Minimal-1708.iso "
1. Make a U disk to start
1. Download the UltraISO tool and install it;
2. Click "File" to open the centos 7 installation package;
3. Click "Startup" - "Write Hard Disk Image", then click "Easy Startup" - "Write New Drive Boot Sector" - " Syslinux ", then click "Write";
4. Finally , copy the centos 7 installation package to the U disk.
So far, the U disk tool has been created.
5. Set the U disk to boot ( my computer is ASUS, here is an example of ASUS ) :
After startup, press F2 to enter the BIOS settings, move to the " Boot " option, select " Hard Drive BBS Priorities ", and set the U disk item as the first;
At this point, the U disk startup item is also set.
Second, encounter errors - dracut initqueue timeout
Solution: On the U disk startup interface, press the tab key to modify the system boot command line to:
vmlinuz initrd=initrd.img inst.stage2=hd:/dev/sdb4 quiet
The value of this sdb4 may be different, specific reference:
