IntelliJ IDEA manually configures connection to MySQL database

First open the database tool window from the menu View→Tool Windows→Database, as shown below:

Click the Add button "+" in the upper left corner of the Database tool window, and select the database type. Here we take MySQL as an example, as shown in the following figure:

Fill in the host name, database name, user name and password of the database connection, as shown in the following figure:

Click the Test Connection button to test whether the database connection is normal

After connecting to the database successfully, you can view the data table currently connected to the database in the window shown in the red box on the right. The red box on the left is the data of the selected table, as shown in the following figure:
