Start installing VMware

Download the CentOS 7.4 image

You can go to Alibaba Cloud's mirror site to download: https://opsx.alibaba.com/mirror

Come to the main page, click centos

 

Select version 7.4

 

Select image file version

Select 64-bit (nonsense,,, centos 7.4 only has 64-bit,,)

You can download it directly, or you can download torrents, and then use other download tools to download (recommended torrents, stable and fast)

Install VMware

Just start...

A typical installation will do

Choose to install later, do not directly choose mirror installation

Select the type of operating system to install

Set the virtual machine name and installation directory

Set the virtual machine disk size

 complete creation

Mirror configuration

Start installing CentOS

If no operation is performed, the installation will be automatically performed at the end of the countdown

However, don't rush to install first, you need to do some configuration before installation

Because the network card of CentOS 7 is named in the form of ens xxx, and the previous ones were all eth0, here the name of the network card is changed to eth0.

Replenish:

After the change, execute Install CentOS 7 (use the keyboard up and down arrow keys to select)

When installing to the interface below, click the red box in the picture to view the current network card information

The network card name has been successfully changed

 

Click "configure" in the above picture to perform the following operations

Modify hostname

Software installation management

Minimize the installation software first. The more software you install, the more windows you open to the outside world.

Install it later if necessary

Disk Partition Management

By default

Security policy, currently closed

set root password

 

After the above is ok, just wait until the installation is complete, (restart after installation)

CentOS is not a desktop system, it is all command-line operations.
