Summary of various recording problems of Loadrunner

I encountered various problems when using LoadRunner (hereinafter referred to as LR) to record. The following summary is for your reference:

Premise : For the operating system, it is best to use win7 and below. Win7 and above are not very compatible with LR; for browsers, use IE first, then Firefox. For IE, it is best to use IE9, or versions below IE9, if the system The built-in is ie10 or ie11, Baidu, how to downgrade to ie9 For ie, use version 30 or lower, it is recommended to use the Firefox that comes with loadrunner, the path of the built-in Firefox is in the bin directory under LR, for example, my LR is installed in C drive, the path of Firefox is: C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\LoadRunner\bin\firefox\firefox.exe, when recording the script, close all anti-virus software, close Thunder, and run LR as an administrator

Question 1: Use ie to record, click to start recording, the browser can be opened, but the recording event is 0, and the content cannot be recorded

Question 2: Firefox can be opened when recording a script, but IE cannot be opened, and it will not work after lowering the IE version.

Solution:

1) In Start Recoding when recording the script, the default is as follows, so IE may not be able to open, you need to change the path, and try again at the corresponding IE path (ie is divided into 32-bit and 64-bit, use 32-bit, That is, in the C:\Program Files (x86) directory)

2) Loadrunner11 keyboard F4 or Vuser---Run-Time Settings, click change in browser Emulation, select 8.0 for Browser version in the pop-up prompt box, and select windows7 for platform

3) Loadrunner11 keyboard ctrl+F7 or Tools---Recording Options, select Correlation in the pop-up prompt box, remove all the ticks under Enable correlation during recording, and tick again if necessary

Question 3: No matter using IE or Firefox, after clicking record, the browser cannot be opened, and the recording event is 0; The problem

Solution:

1) The main reason why the browser cannot be opened is that the registration information of LR has been modified, so the path of IE cannot be found. As for why it has been modified, it is not clear. The key to solving this problem is to re-register LR.

In the \bin of the LR installation directory, click the register_vugen.bat file, the registration information has been rewritten, and then restart the machine, the registration information will take effect. If there is no register_vugen.bat file, you can download one online
