Switch Port Naming Rules

1. 7608 in the center: Ethernet 3/3 (or abbreviated as E3/3 in the system) means the third port in the third slot from the left on the switch

2. Other similar 55/39 series switches: Ethernet0/0/23 (or abbreviated as E0/0/23 in the system), the first 0 is the ID of the switch, and so on according to the stacking order of the switches 0, 1, 2. If there is no stack, it is 0 here; the second 0 is the slot position of the switch. Taking 3926s as an example, the first 24 ports are 0, the first module slot is 1, and the second is 2; The 23 in the third position indicates the 23rd port. For example: if it is the fiber port of the first slot of a 3926s, it is marked as E0/1/1 on the switch; if it is the 18th twisted pair port of the switch, it is marked as E0/0/ 18

For example: F0/1 F0/2
F0/1 in C2900 means Fast Ethernet in 2900, FastEtherNet 0 is the slot number 1 is the interface number The
switch interface number starts from 1. The default slot number is 0
1900 format is E0 /1
