Agreement has been updated--Edit Phone Number the most convenient solution (no need for security questions and two-factor authentication)

I need to submit a new version in the past two days, so I went to the developer website and found that Agreement has been updated. According to the previous routine, basically click on the review and you are done.

But this time to update the mobile phone number (don't know what to do), you can only follow the steps to jump to the appleid website to modify.

After entering, I found a serious problem. . . Forgot the answer to the security question. . .

I have applied for an account for a long time, and I always thought I remembered it before, but I didn’t save it well (remember it in the future!! No matter what information, you must save a copy)

In fact, our purpose is only to modify the account information. If we find a way to modify the information without verification, we can do it. The inspiration I got after reading some blogs on the Internet requires a computer with a macOS system to process it. The steps are as follows:

1. Turn on iCloud

Open System Settings--"Click iCloud--"Log in to the account that needs to be processed first, then click Account Details

2. Add phone number

Click on the contact information in the account details to add a mobile number

3. Change country in payment method

Click Payment Options-->Click Change as shown below

Change the country/region to the United States (this step is very important, if you just add a mobile phone number, Edit Phone Number will still appear after returning to the developer website)

No payment method, other information can be copied completely (I copied it online)

  • Fill in the address at 137 W San Bernardino Rd.
  • apt.suit leave blank
  • City fills in Covina, State chooses CA
  • Fill in 91723 for zip code and 9093949899 for telephone

After the storage is successful, open the developer website, Edit Phone Number will become a review button, click it and it will be ok

This method does not require security prompts and two-factor authentication, which is very convenient
