Enter the big data industry

It has been just one year since I signed up for the 51CTO online big data training course in April last year.

I just got two offers of big data positions last week, one for big data testing and the other for big data operation and maintenance.

One year of hard work is still worth it, mainly because the wish that I have wanted to change jobs for many years has been realized.

Finally, choose the big data operation and maintenance post.

Brand-new industry, brand-new position, full of challenges, although I haven't really entered the job, but I learned from the Internet,

In order to do a good job in big data operation and maintenance, you need to focus on learning the following knowledge points in the next year:

1) In-depth learning and application of several major components of big data, such as Hadoop, HBase, Hive, Flume, Kafka, Spark,

See which is the main application in the post-job work, and then selectively in-depth study.

2) Linux operation and maintenance, this video teaching material is already available, divided into elementary, intermediate and advanced. The learning of this is a long-term process, but it must be mastered.

3) MySQL, the relevant knowledge and instructions of traditional databases, the basic skills in this job need to be mastered.

4) Python language, this is to prepare for the follow-up in the field of big data and needs to be learned.

There are many things to learn, but our time is limited, so we must make choices and pick the most important and urgent things to learn.

I hope to maintain the learning momentum of last year and master all the above knowledge points in the next year.

come on...
