Not only do they feel that they are talented and omnipotent, but they also often claim that they are about to achieve some philosophical or scientific breakthrough, or to come up with a lucrative money-making scheme. After suffering from this disease, people feel really good about themselves, and the symptoms produced are ecstatic. In reality, however, the patient's sudden self-confidence and a feeling of extreme inner excitement are nothing more than manifestations of a destructive disorder.
