So I have a View in my SqlServer database but this view does not have any primary key or Id column. I have an entity in my Java project to represent the view like so:

After following this tutorial I changed my entity to this:

I see now that the tutorial was really just talking about generating an Id to insert into a column. My issue however is that my view does not have an unique id column of any sort.
Is there any way to create a Hibernate managed entity for a SqlServer view without an Id column? I preferably would like to not change the view to have an id column so I'm looking for ways to resolve this issue through Java/Hibernate.

You are missing a field annotated with @Id. JPA requires primary key for each @Entity.
for e.g. define your Entity as below:
@Entity
@Immutable
public class ProductView {
@Id
@GeneratedValue(strategy = GenerationType.AUTO)
@Column(name = "id", updatable = false, nullable = false)
private Long id;
private String name;
@Column(name = "product_code")
private String code;
...
}
Notice the @Immutable annotation and @Column attribute updatable = false. You can also use @EmbeddedId annotation if your view has two or more columns which makes a row unique. See Java Persistence/Identity and Sequencing for more info.
