Remote desktop connection error: This may be due to CredSSP encryption database fix

When connecting to a remote, the following pop-up window appears:

Solution:

  1. win+R, enter regedit to open the "Registry Editor";
  2. Find the folder: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> Microsoft -> Windows -> CurrentVersion -> Policies -> System
  3. Create a new folder CredSSP under the System folder, and then create a new folder Parameters inside. If there is no CredSSP folder, create a new one manually. A new item is a new folder.

 Create a new one in the folder Parameters: DWORD (32) bit value (D), file name AllowEncryptionOracle, value data set to 2, sixteen bits

 Just reconnect to the remote. If not, try restarting the computer
