Programmer's Notes CherryTree 0.99.47.0 Released

CherryTree 0.99.47 is out now. CherryTree is a note-taking software that supports unlimited hierarchical classification, written in Python, supports rich text editing and code highlighting, and supports Linux and Windows platforms. The data is stored in sqlite or XML, supports password protection, and supports importing data from note-taking software such as NoteCase, KeepNote, Knowit, Tomboy, TuxCards, Treepad, and Leo.

The updates in this version are as follows:

  • Added support for latex math equations
  • Added ability to copy/paste tree nodes and child nodes between multiple open files
  • Restored support for text selection drag and drop; now preserves rich text content 
  • Added syntax highlighting for HCL (Hashicop Configuration Language)
  • Fixed toolbar reset in preferences dialog when menu bar in title bar
  • Added some node icons for DevOps tools and techniques
  • Added command line option (-S/-secondary_session) to run in isolation from a primary instance that may already be running
