2. The concept of Alibaba Cloud resource region and availability zone
In any cloud platform, all resources will have the concept of region and availability zone. When we purchase cloud resources, region and availability zone will let us choose first. In general, we will purchase the one closest to the user or the closest to the company. Regions and Availability Zones, the same region and different Availability Zones can achieve network isolation. Even if Availability Zone A fails, it will not affect the use of Availability Zone B.
Region: Refers to the physical location where the resource instance is located. Region is equivalent to a city.
